District Apostle Visit to Mwingi

How glad I am, how well for me; one of our hymnal, was the echo that filled the air and heard from far as it was being sang from the main hall of Tyaa Kamuthale Secondary school on Saturday, 18 January 2014 when our dear District Apostle Lubasi served 919 members in attendance.

The sermon was based on Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”.  The district apostle emphasized the need to labour in love which is our motto for year 2014. Apostles Jonathan Mutua and Jacob Nyamai accompanied him.

Sunday, 19 January 2014 was the highlight of the district apostle’s visit to this area. 2,713 members attended this festive divine service in our Mwangeni congregation. The sermon was based on Luke 13:23-24a, “Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate”.  The divine service was conducted in an open air setup owing to the great number of members who had   traveled from far and near to participate in the festive divine service.
