The weekend of 26-27 October 2013 was a beehive of activities in Nairobi, Kenya as the three District churches of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda came together to celebrate the 150 years of New Apostolic Church existence.
District Apostle Shadreck Lubasi accompanied by all East African apostles graced this memorable occasion. Erich Senn, the NACI Administrator was also present and many other invited guests.
On Saturday, 26 October 2013 all invited guests and members enjoyed a choral concert held at the Bomas of Kenya. Different choirs from all over East Africa performed. A children’s’ choir from Nairobi also participated.
The highlight of the celebrations was the District divine service on Sunday morning conducted by the District Apostle Shadreck Lubasi. Over 2000 members attended this festive divine service also held at the Bomas of Kenya. The sermon was based on a text word taken out of the book of Romans 8: 28. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
This unique event will remain in the hearts of God’s children because it was the first time that all East African apostles and members from the three District Churches gathered together
